Check out this amazing stop-motion Lego version of the first scene in Casino Royale! Painstakingly made by Duncanmcconchie, it took around two weekends to make and apparently it was the bathroom fight scene that took the longest. Good work.
Tom Poulsom has made a set of Tropical Birds from lego, which we think are excellent. The Tropical Birds series follows the British Birds series that Poulsom created earlier in the year. He wants to create a series from every continent around the world and is looking for support on the Lego Cuusoo website so that one day people can buy the bird sets for themselves!
We were really impressed by this ad campaign by the German ad agency Jung von Matt to advertise Lego. The ads are minimalist interpretations of cartoon characters made up of Lego blocks.

Who doesn’t love Lego? Now there’s an excuse to play with grown-up Lego, in the form of the Lego Architecture range which features iconic Landmarks such as Frank Lloyd Wright’s house Falling Water, Sydney Opera House and Tower Bridge to name but a few. You can even go onto the lego website and vote for the next Building that will be transformed into Lego.
The RIBA has an upcoming festival called Love Architecture which is taking place in June and several events are lectures given by Senior Design Manager at LEGO Simon Kent. LEGO lectures will be supplemented by nationwide LEGO Store events to celebrate architecture and new LEGO Architecture models.

Small, colourful, modular, creative. What’s not to like? OK, it’s expensive, but the possibilities are endless. Everyone should have a little bit of Lego in their lives. Or, for some, a little bit is clearly not enough. More here.
